ANOTHER BRAMSHAW PLAYER TO PLAY FOR HAMPSHIRE
Jon Wall has been picked to play for Hampshire Over 50s today in a friendly game. Jon said in his press conference how pleased he was to finally get recognised by the Hampshire over 50s team after gaining qualification many years ago. This is the third player this year from Bramshaw to be picked for a Hampshire rep side. Jon joins Lawrence Reeve & Brian Hart as Bramshaw's other Hampshire super stars.
THE BORDER LEAGUE NINE WIN
Due to some late withdrawels the Border League team turned up at Trojans with only nine men. Trojans won the toss and decided to bat and were restricted to 164 in their 18 overs. In reply Andy Hart hit 7 6's in a one shot inspired 67 and Johnny Murray scored a quickfire 26. That left Tom Arnold to hit the winning runs with the first decent cricket shot of the game - a beautiful square cut.
RECORD 10th WKT PARTNERSHIP NEARLY WINS IT FOR 1sts
Michael Kingston (41*) & Kevin Gray (8) put on a fantastic last wicket partnership of 71 that fell just 14 short of winning the game for Bramshaw. Bedhampton batted first and scored 249 with Kevin Gray (2-40) and Kev Marshall (2-51) bowling beautiful and Bramshaw looked in trouble at 165/9 before the record last wicket partnership nearly won it for Bramshaw. The under 13s lost in the first round of the cup to a strong Farley Xl. Bramshaw scored 50 with James Mason (15) top scoring. Farley reahced their target in the 15th Over with Ryan Thomason taking his first wicket for the club. The 1st Xl were the only senior team to play on Saturday and they lost a close game to Pylewell Park with Tim Rogers taking 5 wkts.

ANGEL HAT-TRICK BRIGHTENS FIRST Xl GAME
Mark Angel bowled superbly on Saturday taking four wickets including a hat trick for the first team in a tough loss to Alton 2 on Saturday. Horrible fielding was the first Xls downfall. Mark could have easily taken 8 wickets with better catching. The first's travel (weather permitting) to Pylewell Park on Saturday where a better performance is needed to overcome the County 1 newcomers.
UNDER 13s WIN FIRST GAME
The Under 13s recorded their first victory of the season with an excellent performance against Calmore. Fielding first Bramshaw restricted the home side to 65 -8 off their 18 overs with James Mason, Taylor Vane & Ryan Purchase all taking 2 wickets. Andy Richards helped out the bowling with two superb catches. In reply Bramshaw openers Theo Waldridge (14) & Andy Richards (11*)put on 28 runs before Lawrence Reeve steered his team home with an elegant 20 not out. An allround good performance.

1st Xl MAKE IT 2 FROM 2

On a cold wet day at Andover the firsts won the toss and fielded first restricting Andover 2s to 214-4 off their 48 overs. In reply Bramshaw reached a rain reduced total of 156 with one ball to spare. Andy Hart hit the winning run to end up on 92 not out. The 2nds lost with Ian Mcgill batting very well and the 3rds won. More details to follow. The U13s showed a great deal of improvement in their game on thursday night scoring 65-7 in reply to Michelmersh & Timsbury's 109-3. Andy Richards was the pick of the bowlers taking 2-17. On Sunday the U11s won convincingly against Milford on sea. Bramshaw took 8 wickets to keep Milfords score at 209 and then scored 283 without losing a wicket. Tommy Mason caught the first catch for the Under 11s and Taylor Vane has yet to be dismissed in 8 Under 11s games. On Sunday afternoon Romsey & OTs visited Bramshaw and scored 286 in their 40 overs. Bramshaw reached this with many overs to spare with Andy Hart scoring 172.

BORDER LEAGUE Xl START LEAGUE DEFENSE WITH WIN
The border league Xl started the defense of the league with a comfortable win over Totton & Ealing at Bramshaw. Totton & Ealing batted first and reached 139 in their 18 overs and Bramshaw reached 140 with an over to spare. George Gray (52*) and Wayne Eckton (32) put on a club record partnership of 81 for the 6th wicket.
The U11s beat Mudeford convincingly on Sunday morning as they scored 297 runs with Josh Arnold getting a club U11 record 34 not out. In return Mudeford managed 218 with Taylor Vane taking 3-8. Tom Mason took his first club wicket in a very good win for the U11s. The club were also knocked out of the village knockout on sunday afternoon with a lacklustre performance against Amport. Bramshaw batted first and were bowled out for 102 which Amport knocked off for 5 wickets.
GREAT DAY FOR THE 3 SENIOR TEAMS
The 1st Xl started the season with a maximum points win over Locks Heath at Bramshaw. Bramshaw won the toss and elected to field and then bowled out Locks Heath for a score of 196. Mike Kingston took 4 of the wickets and both Ben Arnold and Mark Angel took 3 wickets in very economical spells. Jon Wall also took 2 very sharp chances at slip. Adam Risgeway (69) and Simon booth (49) then put on 122 for the first wicket and Jon Wall hit the winning runs with 17 overs to spare. The Seconds beat Locks Heath away and The Thirds beat Compton & Chandlers Ford at Landford. More details of both these games to follow.
UNDER 13s SHOW GREAT SPIRIT AT REDLYNCH
The U13s played their first ever game on Thursday night. Bramshaw won the toss and put Redlynch into bat who proceeded to score 90 off their 16 overs with James Mason taking Bramshaw's only wicket. In reply Bramshaw reached 30 with captain Lawrence Reeve top scoring with 13. This is a very promising start especially as this was the first game of 'proper' cricket that many of the U13s had ever played.
UNDER 11s WIN FIRST GAME OF SEASON
The under 11s secured the first victory for the club in 2008 with an impressive win over Bashley B. Bramshaw bowled very well to restrict Bashley B to 214 with Josh Arnold taking 4-0 and Thomas Patterson taking his first wicket for the club. Bramshaw then scored an impressive 263 to gain maximum points with Josh Arnold scoring 13* including a 6 and Taylor Vane scoring 10*. Charlie Plumley was superb behind the stumps and Harry Thornley hit his first ever 4.
COLTS OUTDOOR NETS START FRIDAY 25th APRIL @ 6.15
