Bramshaw 2nd Xl vs Fareham & Crofton 2nd Xl

On a dull and cold day at Bramshaw Timmy lost the toss and were put in the field. The opening bowling combination of Jammo and Timmy started excellently and once again had the oppo struggling, Timmy struck an early blow to remove Webb (which was a beautifull sight after bowling three wides). After the three early wickets Fareham & Crofton got back into the game with the help of a few slices of luck! Denno making his debut for the club bowled a good spell and had a couple of catches put down. At the other end Ian (magoo) Mcgill turned back the clock and again had no luck but ended up with a couple of wickets! After a late order rally Fareham & Crofton reached a competative 236-9. The Bramshaw reply didn't start well losing Timmy and Macca early but Magoo and Jammo put together a good partnership untill a loose shot by the latter ended it. The middleorder collapsed leaving Mcgoo to battle on which he did so with some quality shots, but when he departed for a classy 82 the end was near and only some late blows by Aaron 'asbo' Prentice took the score to 219. A good game that with the side we had we should of won but luck was definatly against us roll on next week!
