Another century stand secures the win!

Bramshaw border league XI took on old embliens at roundhills and after losing the toss were put in the field, Early wickets followed as the away side struggled against the pace and movement of jamie martin and the turn of ben 'the bear' arnold.The pick of the bowlers though was young tom beresford with 4-25 in what was an excellent display by one of the future stars. A total of 112 was never going to be enough with bramshaw fielding a very powerful batting line up!

The formidable opening pair of jimmy and jammo continued were they left off last time they opened together and struck the ball with power and timing with jimmy (taking most of the strike) smashing 74 n/o in a partnership of 109 in just 8.2 overs, Jammo with a more sedate 35 was the only wicket to fall leaving jonny wall to hit a six to win the game.
Another comfortable win to keep the league champs in the hunt for another title!
