Bramshaw stormed their way into the border league cup final for the second year running with a superb win over a strong O T and Romsey outfit. Fielding first in the 18 over slogfest Mike Kingston and Wall-E (pictured below) bowled excellently to keep the run rate down off the first 10 overs but with only 2 wickets down Romsey stepped up the runs off Jimmy and Benny, ending up on a testing 159.
The reply got off to a steady start with Jammo and George going at 7 an over without taking many risks, George was then run out going for an easy two to bring Tarty in and he wasted no time in crunching some boundary's. Jammo carried on his fine border league form and with some very correct slogging and good running. But after he holed out for 57 and Tarty was out the run rate was climbing to 10's, so up stepped Jimmy who smashed 30 odd including a couple of massive sixes and together with Wall-E took Bramshaw across the line with an over to spare and book a date with Trojans.
An superb all round performance to prove that we can still mix it with the best
