Winning start for captain ginge!!!!

Bramshaws new border league regime kicked off the new campaign with a resounding victory against newly promoted Mottisfont on tuesday. After being inserted on a slowish pitch tarty (27) started his season off well with some rather big hitting. But after losing some quick wickets and the run rate slowing it was left to george to show his forest side with some quality swipeage to make 33 and drag the total up to 113 off 18 overs.

In reply mottisfont struggled with the tight bowling of ginge with 3 wickets and jamie martin with 2 and with some good catching could only reach 43 in reply.

A comfortable win and with the side that was playing there hopefully wont be many sides to contain it!!!!
