Rawlins fires bramshaw into the next round!!

 

A classy knock by Ricky Rawlins eased the border league Xl past wellow in the cup.Bowling first bramshaw took regular wickets but with some big top order hitting from wellow a big total was looking possible, but westy bowled tight and with everyone chipping in with some good fielding wellow were restricted to 129 off there 18 overs.

The renewed partnership of tarty and jammo started off slow against some straight and aggressive bowling with tarty getting hit on the ear by one, although it wasn't the best shot he's ever played, with him retiring ricky came to the crease and the runs began to flow. Good shots all round the wicket by both batsmen soon had the rate climbing and with ricky ending 81 n/o supported well by jammo 32 n/o the target was reached in the 13th over!
