Timmy ton seals convincing start!!

Timmy cracked a quickfire 129 as the 2nd's cruised to eight wicket win against havant 3rds at bramshaw.After losing the toss the visitors started off quickly putting on over 100 for the first wicket and a large total looked on but Kev Marshall stemmed the flow with a couple of wickets and the run rate dropped. Mangle returned to pick up a couple at the end and a total of 239 was set.The openers set off at a blistering pace with timmy in his usual style smashing the ball to all parts including 5 sixes in one over with a single to nik the strike!!. With jammo at the other end the partnership reached 180 when timmy holed out to long off, with victory virtually sealed it was left to jammo 80 n/o and kev to wrap up the win.A good performance by an experienced side (with a couple of exceptions) and on this form a successful season should be achieved!
