2nds clinch a close one!!

The 2nd's made it 2 from 2 with a close win away at bashley 3rds!

With the rain affecting the pitch conditions magoo lost another toss and bramshaw found themselves batting first on a softish slow pitch and straight away struggled losing last weeks hero timmy early on and with matt alford also falling it was a slow start.Wally came in at 4 and with jammo at the other end steadied things with a good partnership and took it to 100 at drinks.Wally (40) was first to go then jammo fell for a fortunate (65), after that the innings tailed off and only 50 runs were scored in the last 18ish overs and a below par total of 150 was set.

Timmy and Mangle opened the bowling and although they bowled well wickets were needed, After progressing to 90 odd for 1 bashley looked comfortable. Magoo tossed the ball to occasional spinner jammo (3-17) who struck early and with the runs drying up took 2 more wickets to haul bramshaw back into the game.Ginge (2-31) returned to slow it even more and with 10 needed off the last over wally (3-14) took a hat-trick to complete the win!

A good display in the field with some good catching to back the bowling, With the game drifting away all credit to magoo for keeping his head with some good field positioning!
