Zane & Tarty opened the batting for the As and both retired before a collapse saw Tarty back in for the 6th over. Tarty then retired for a second time allowing Zane back in who was then caught by the bowler with a fantastic caught & bowled. Tarty then re-appeared finishing on 81* putting on some valuable last wicket runs with Taylor to end on 153. The bowlers then bowled fantastically with J-Mac, Zane, Taylor and The-Johnny-Murray all picking up wickets supported well by the sheep behind the stumps. Wellow were bowled out for under a 100 to leave the As top of the table with 3 games to play. Sheeps Pen report here!

A-TEAM BEAT ROMSEY TO GO TOP OF THE LEAGUE
The A-Team were asked to bat first scoring 127 with Zane and Tarty both retiring. The latest tables can be found here.

B-TEAM STAY UNDEFEATED INDOORS
Bramshaw B team continued their unbeaten start to the Indoor Season with a 3 wicket win over North Baddesley. Bramshaw bowled first and a slightly under par bowling and fielding performance allowed Baddesley to rack up a potentially daunting target of 134 for 2 off their 12 overs. Despite Joshie being run out without facing, the B team reached the target with 3 balls to spare and 3 wickets in hand thanks to retirements from Taffy and Timmo and quick fire 20's for Barnold and Matty
A-TEAM CONTINUE UNBEATEN INDOOR RECORD
Bramshaw bowled first and bowled well with Zane and Taylor doing the damage taking early wickets. Tom 'Big myself up' Arnold went for 1 run in his first over and The Johnny Murray bowled tightly to restrict Wellow to only 111. Tarty and Zane opened up and scored quickly with both retiring before joe finished the game off with a 6 and was another simple win.
B-TEAM WIN LOCAL DERBY
The B Team continued their good start to the Indoor League season with a 3
wicket win over local rivals Cadnam. Bramshaw won the toss and elected to field first. Cadnam finished on 129, with Sam Brider and James Mason producing decent spells and Jammo having a tidy time behind the stumps. In reply Bramshaw got home in the 11th Over for the loss of 3 wickets, with Timmo 30* and Barnold 25 retired leading the way. James Mason also batted well to see the B Team to a comfortable victory.
A-TEAM WIN FIRST INDOOR GAME
Bramshaw A got their first indoor win under the belt. Bramshaw batted first and scored a huge 180 with everyone chipping in. Tarty (45) & Zane (23) smashed the bowlers everywhere with the help of Tom (with a quick 25) and a lot of extras. Joe and youngster Taylor Vane batted well at the end. East Tytherely were then skittled for 80 with Zane the pick of the bowlers and Tarty giving Tom a lesson on the art of wicket keeping..

3rds FINISH SEASON IN STYLE
It was yet another amazing day for the 3rds yesterday at Great Durnford. Phil lost the toss and we were put in on a damp track , the early loss of Andy Vane for a duck seemed to galvanise Boyd Hilton who played shots all round the wicket and cruised to an eventual score of 88 that on any other day with a dry outfeild would of been well over a ton, 20 from Brian Hart and 48 from Angry saw us finish on a competetive 188 for 8. Angry and Taylor opened the bowling and Dom took a couple of quick wickets and Taylor was at his economical best but then a drying pitch and some short pitched bowling from Evergreen and Phil helped Durnford get into the 90,s by drinks, Evergreen and Phil then managed a couple of wickets each but a free scoring Durnford and a gap in the feild left by finish early Dom left us in deep deep trouble with the score on 186 for 6. What happened next will go down in 3rd team folklore and be remembered for years to come, Phil proceeded to take 3 wickets in an over leaving Taylor at the other end to bowl at the in form Durnford bat who was on 64, his first ball was driven to Evergreen in the covers and they took a single, Tayors next swinging delivery knocked over the off stump and Bramshaw had pulled off a fantastic win bowling Durnford out for 167. Phil finished with 5 for 37, Taylor 1 for 32, Dotballs a good ball took a catch to give him 15 dismissals for the season and James Vane took a great catch in the deep. We finished just outside the promotion places in a tremendous 4th place so well done to Phil and all his troops for a tremendous season.
ANGRY IS 3RD TEAM ALL TIME TOP RUN SCORER
Angry Dom overtook John Reeve as the all time leading run scorer in the 3rds with his 48 on Saturday against Great Durnford. John's record stood at 828 runs and Angry finished the season on 835. Dom is on course to become the 1st 3rd team player to reach 1000 runs hopefully early next season.
1sts LOSE CLOSE ONE
The first's were asked to field at Burridge and with the youngest team in anyone's memory restricted the opposition to 190 all out. J-Mac opened the bowling and bowled superbly in his 8 over spell to pick up 2 wickets before Matt Reeve finished off a superb season by taking 3 wickets. Josh Arnold picked up his first ever 1st xl wicket bowling a wicket maiden in his first ever 1st xl over. In reply The Sheep and Matt Reeve both scored 30s before Big Korn Beef Ash and Troy Coombs both batted superbly to take Bramshaw close but some good Burridge bowling finished the 1sts off with only 9 runs needed for a win. The firsts finished in 7th place - losing 3 of their last 4 games killed off their promotion push. The seconds game was called off and they finished in 4th place.
LCA WINTER COACHING
Lca will be running some winter courses for colts. The details can be found by clicking here or by ringing Ben Arnold.
THE SHEEP JUST KEEPS ON BAAATTING
The 1sts were inserted on a green, wet wicket by Ventnor yesterday and got off to a good start with Tom Arnold scoring his 2nd hundred of the season, taking his season tally to over 700! The 1sts ended up on 260/9 and then proceeded to produce the best fielding display of the season. Tarty knocked over the two openers in successive balls, James Mason picked up a couple but the star of the show was Zane 'he's from Spain' D'Monte. Zane took 3 marvellous caught and bowled on his way to his first 5 wicket haul for the club to seal the win.
SPIN KING ARNOLD!
Joshy Arnold ripped through a stunned Hampton Park yesterday at Landford with career best figures of 7 for 36, Evergreen had won the toss and elected to field and an early wicket from Angry pegged Hampton back along with some tight bowling from opening swing bowler Taylor Vane. Joshy then entered the fray and after 2 overs Hampton had a handy score of 71 for 1 but then Joshy started to weave his magic taking his 7 wickets in the next 8 overs, amongst his victims was the number 3 of Hampton, a  Hampshire Academy player. In his 10 overs Josh bowled 4 victims, had 2 caught (1 by Tommy Wall) and 1 lbw, well done Gosh. Hampton finished on 98 and with some watchfull batting we reached the target for the loss of 4 wickets and a valuable 23 points keeping us in the top five of the league.
3rds MIX YOUTH & EXPERIENCE TO WIN
Amport were the visitors this week and after Evergreen lost the toss we were surprisingly asked to bat. Brian and Boyd got us off to a steady start until a freak run out ended Brians innings with the score on 39, Joshy Arnold then went cheapley bringing Nigel Warren to the crease, the run rate now increased and Boyd reached 50 with some classy shots all round the park. Nigel fell for a quick fire 30 and in strode Angry Dom who proceeded to smash the ball to all parts in true Angry style. Boyd was next to go for a super 67 and a partnership with Dom also of 67. Evergreen managed a stylish 0 and then young Sam Brider featured in a partnership of 54 with Dom getting us to 242 for 6 and an impressive 85 not out himself. Now it was time for the colts in the side to step up to the plate and they didn't let us down. Sam Brider opened with Dom and bowled 4 overs for a measley 12 runs. A wicket each for Joshy and Dom pegged them back but Amports opener and middle order scored at a healthy rate on a batter freindley track. Evergreen dismissed the opener then turned to his spin kings Tommy Wall and debutant Koshe Patel after bowler Boyd pulled up with an injured fetlock, Tommy took 1 for 27 and Koshe took 1 for 23 slowing the run rate right down but we still had to endure a nervous finish. Joshy Arnold turned out to be the star of the show taking 2 wickets in over number 40 and finishing with 3 for 38. A special mention goes to Kev Longman who rolled back the years and bowled the penultimate over taking a wicket and thrilling the astonished first team onlookers.
2nds TITLE PUSH IN FULL FLOW
The seconds are still on course for promotion from CD4S with a fine win at home against Gosport Borough. The 2nds batted first scoring 254/9 with Jammo scoring 50. In reply Gosport were bowled out for 191 to leave the seconds very close to first place and in very good position to earn promotion. The 1sts were well beaten at East Tytherley although they very much enjoyed the best tea in Hampshire.
BEN PICKING UP BL AWARD

Ben Rogers kindly stepped in and picked up Tarty's BL award at the presentation evening on Wednesday night.

SHEEPS PEN REPORTS
The sheep has finally written some match reports - find them here!
3rds VS WILTON
Phil lost the toss and Wilton put us in to bat on a very damp track and with an all Indian attack and swinging conditions we were soon in deep trouble. At 48 for 6 captain Curl strode (sorry waddled) to the crease and made a hard fought 21 before being caught and we finished on a lowly 75 all out. Bramshaw then produced our best fielding display of the season and although Wilton reached their target we managed to take 7 wickets and with a little luck we could of pulled off a miraculous victory. Evergreen and Angry took 3 wickets each and Captain Curl grabbed the other one, great fielding and catching by Stu and Dr Hodder kept us in the game but the catch of the match was taken by young Jack Rogers who showing plenty of yorkshire grit took a steepling catch in the deep on his club debut.
TOM SCORES RECORD 6th FIFTY
Tom Arnold scored his 6th fifty for the firsts this season against Rowledge taking him past 4 other players who had scored 5 in one season.
BL SEASON FINISHES
The Border League team finished their season with a loss at league winners OTs & Romsey A. The team finished in 6th place. Tom Arnold finished the season as Bramshaw's leading run scorer in both cup and league with 300 runs in 10 inns. Mike Kingston was the leading bowler with 14 wickets followed by Joe Coombs and Jamie Martin joint second with 10. Andy Hart finished the season with the division 1 highest score award of 93*.
MAMMOTH SCORE FOR 2NDS
The seconds scored a mammoth 413/5 against Bishops Waltham with Timmo and Taffy both scoring quick centuries. In reply Bishops Waltham reached 243/8 with old hands Ian Mcgill and Kev Marshall picking up 5 of the wickets between them. The seconds are now only 2 points off top spot in County 4.
3RDS GO 5TH WITH HOME WIN
High flying Thruxton were the visitors on Saturday to a sultry Landford, Evergreen lost the toss and Thruxton put us in to bat. Brian Hart and Andy Vane got us off to a solid start with a partnership of 48 and when Andy was stumped Matt Alford came in and hit a majestic 40 before being caught. Brian's gritty innings came to an end on 26 leaving a slow starting Dom to power his way to 68 helped by a patient knock of 18 by James Vane. Stu Stickland added 5 and we finished on a very healthy 212. Dom Briggs and young Taylor Vane opened the bowling with Dom taking 1 for 28 in 7 overs and Taylor giving up a miserly 14 runs in 6 overs and unlucky not to get a wicket. Evergreen then tossed the ball to Matt Alford who proceeded to weave a magic spell of 6 for 20 in 6 overs (his first ever 5 for). Evergreen finished Thruxton off with 3 for 10 off 6 overs but a special mention must go to Dot Ball Nick who had 3 stumpings and catch in a great day behind the stumps. This win moved us to the dizzy heights of 5th in the league, well done lads.
MATT REEVE SPINS 1sts TO WIN
The firsts fielded first and got off to a brilliant start with Big Ben reeling off maidens. Tarty and Zane then came on and took 3 wickets before Matt Reeve bowled a ridiculous spell of leg spin - bowling 9.4 overs taking 5-12! James Mason took a couple at the other end to bowl out Hythe for 128. In reply Shawn the Sheep hit the ball with authority racing to 66 with support from Tarty (51) for a 10 wicket win.
On Sunday the club saw the continuation of the Birthday series of games with a match between Kev Gray's young(ish) Xl vs Arthur Sticklands Older Xl. Kev won the toss and invited Arthur's team to bat. The Hart's opened the batting together and put on 37 before Brian was the first of Kev's catches in the gully off go-go's little swingers. Tarty was then fooled by a James Whitcher long hop that he chipped to Kev (again) at gully before Ian McGill came in and hit the cover off the ball before being the third of the Arthur Xl to be caught by Kev in the gully off Timmo. This brought in Super Oooh Ahh Crissy Spryaah who was feeling so confident facing Mark Angel that he bet the Mangel that he wouldn't face an over without scoring a run. Mark was even more confident, betting that he would get Spryer out within 6 balls which he did with ease. Kev Marshall then hit some big boundaries before Captain Kev Gray came on and cleaned up the tail with 3 wickets to leave the Arthur Xl below par with 176/9. In Reply Big Ben Arnold thrashed Evergreen and Phil around the park before retiring knackered. Bones would have caught ben but unfortunately tried to catch the ball in his privates. Boothy then batted very well with Billy to take Kevs team close before Timmo came in to hit a big six to win the game for Kev. A fantastic day was had by all. To view pictures of the day please click here.

LOZ TOP COLTS RUN SCORER
With a well crafted 40* in the U15s final game Lawrence Reeve became the all time colts leading run scorer with 720 runs passing Tarty's 707. Congrats to Lawrence.
BRAMSHAW COLTS END SEASON
All 3 colts sides ended the season in the rain. The Under 15s won 3 games to finish in 9th place. The U13s won 2 games to finish in 10th and the U11s won 2 games to finish in 7th. Lawrence Reeve finished the season as the colts leading run scorer with 203 runs and Taylor Vane finished as the highest wicket taker with 12 followed by U11 superstars Declan Mason (11 wickets) and Bailey Loveless (10 wickets). Thanks to all those who helped out organising teams, coaching, managing, making tea, scoring & umpiring.
3rds ROLL OVER BROUGHTON
Phil won the toss and put Broughton in on a wicket that was greener than Kermit in a green overcoat. Air traffic Johnny and Phil opened and pretty soon Broughton started to subside, Angry Dom entered the fray and had 2 catches dropped by teflon stuart Stickland "Dom wasnt happy" but things started to turn for Dom and he picked up 4 wickets thanks to some great catching from Matt Alford and Dr Hodder (take note Stuey). Evergreen chipped in with a couple of wickets but the star of the show was Tommy Wall who stunned the opposition with 3 wickets in 8 balls. Broughton finished on 92 all out. In reply Brian and Matt got us off to a good start before Angry bludgeoned us to an easy win.
1sts WIN 5 IN A ROW!
Bramshaw lost the toss and were put in the field with Big Ben and J.C opening up and bowled well with Barny getting some zip. With the batsman slogging from the start there was no hope for them as Joe opened up the account with Matt taking a good catch. Joe and Ben picked up more bowling well and Soton Community were 70-5. Soton fought back with a little partnership but they were no match for Jamie and Zane who finished them off - all out for 151! Bramshaw went in to bat and got off to a bad start with Tarty chipping it to mid wicket and Zane getting a yorker first ball. Pressure was on but Tom, joined by Matt, saw off the first 15 and then went on the attack with Matt playing some elegant clips of his legs and Tom with his timed drives Bram were ticking a long. With Soton following the ball quick singles were easy and Bram needing 1 run to win and Tom finished it with a 6. Bramshaw win with 8 wickets in hand. The seconds and thirds also won their games.
TAYLOR VANE ALL TIME COLTS WICKET TAKER
Taylor Vane passes Tim Rogers as the all time Bramshaw colts wicket taker. Tim took 50 wickets in his colts career and Taylor so far sits on 55.
U15s PILE ON THE RUNS!
The U15s scored the second highest ever score for a Bramshaw colts side on Sunday scoring 157/5 in their 18 overs falling just short of the overall record (172/1) set by the then U14 team of 1991. Lawrence and Josh opened the batting and both retired on 40 before James (10), Jamie (6), Charlie (14) and Taylor, who came in at the end and spanked a quick 29*, carried on the runfest. In reply Michelmersh & Timsbury reached 92/6 as Captain James let everybody have a bowl. The wickets were taken by Taylor, Tommy Wall, Charlie, Jamie and 2 run outs. The U15s fielded exceptionally well capped by Henry taking a skier off Tom's bowling. A brilliant performance well done!
1STS WIN AGAIN!
Bramshaw were asked to bat first against New Milton. Tom Arnold (58) continued his good form putting on 98 with Matt Reeve who once again stroked the ball around and out of the park for a first team personal best of 68. The Johnny Murray then scored a crucial 48 and with Jamie Martin, who hit his first ever 1st team 6, took the score to 237. In reply Ben Arnold (2-31) and Joe Coombs (2-28) bowled superbly first up to put pressure on the New Milton top order. James Mason (1-25), continuing his good first team form, and Jamie Martin (2-43) then kept the pressure on and with a fantastic direct hit run out from Joe Coombs New Milton were struggling. Matt Reeve then came on and bowled the number 11 with his first ball to finish a fantastic all round team performance.

The U15s batted first, scoring 108 with Lawrence scoring 32. Kaush and Jo recorded a 10th wicket record for the U15s with a partnership of 22. In reply the U15s struggled to get wickets until Joe Cunningham came on and bowled superbly to take 4-10. He also bowled two more on no-balls! in the end Hyde crept over the line with an over to spare.
TOM TERRORISES SARSIBURY
Tarty lost the toss again and were asked to field. Joe opened the bowling and bowled 4 maidens in his first 5 overs before coming back at the end to pick up 2 wickets. Tarty and Matt Reeve also picked up 2 both fooling the batsman with deceptive long hops. In reply Tom batted fantastically in scoring 118 - hitting many stunning cover drives in his best ever innings for Bramshaw and along with Tarty (68) and Zano (45*) reached the score with 3 overs to spare. A fantastic win.
REEVE AND HART STROKE BRAM TO WIN
Bramshaw restricted East Tytherley to 156 off their 18 overs with Angry Dom bowling exceptionally well. In reply Matt Reeve & Tarty stroked the ball around the park to knock off the runs without losing a wicket in only 14 overs.
U15s STAY COOL IN THE HEAT
The U15s looked to be in trouble with top of the table T&E at 80/1 with 7 overs left. Then Kaush Patel started weaving some magic taking 4 wickets before Taylor Vane swept up the tail to dessimate the T&E scorecard bowling them out for 95. In reply Lawrence (38*) paced his inning incredibly well and with some quick runs by George, Marcus and Charlie took the team close before Taylor came in and smashed a quick 15 to stun the T&E team for the win with only 1 ball to spare. A fantastic team effort.
WALLY HAS BEST EVER BRAMSHAW FIGURES
Jon Wall's 8-26 on Saturday for the thirds were the best ever figures by a Bramshaw bowler in any team. Congrats Jon!
TARTY BREAKS RECORD TO SECURE 1STS WIN
The firsts were put into bat on a wet wicket at Bramshaw. Tarty then broke the 1st team individual best with 156 and with Tom (54) put on 167 for the first wicket. Everyone else then chipped in to keep the score ticking over to finish off with 280 off 45 overs. In reply Hursley got off to a steady start but were pegged back by a run out by Coombs before James Mason, on debut, pegged them back even further with 3 very good wickets. At the end THE Johnny Murray and Captain inZano took the pressure of some big Hursely hitting to see the 1sts home. Sheeps report here.
2NDS GO TOP
The seconds had a brilliant away win at Hursley. Bramshaw batted first and scored 165 for 6 in their alloted overs. With Hursley looking like they would win, needing only 2 off the last over, Mark Angel (4-30) bowled a fantastic over to secure a dramatic win. The thirds also won with Jonny 'my bat my ball' Wall taking 8 wickets and scoring 77.
COOMBS GETS SMASHED
Joe Coombs bowled his first over with Romsey & OTs B needing 34 for victory off of 3 overs in the BL cup quarter final last night. After the first five balls were dispatched for 6 Joe bowled 2 wides and was then hit for a 4 to bring the one over total to 36. Nothing like it had been seen since Jammo went for 6 sixes in one over at Paultons. Good luck to OTs & Romsey in the next round.

U15s LOSE CLOSE ONE TO ALDERHOLT
The U15s bowled first at Alderholt and even though they only had 10 men they managed to restrict the opposition to 105 off 18 overs with Marcus taking 3 wickets and debutant Jamie taking 2 with George, who was keeping for the first time, taking a sharp catch. In reply Josh scored an effortless 41* which helped Bramshaw reach 94.

MATT REEVE SMASHES 1STS TO VICTORY
The 1sts were to put into bat and got off to a good start with Tarty and Tom putting on 75 for the first wicket. Wickets then fell fairly regularly before Matt Reeve began his onslaught which included 5 6s and 5 4s to finish on 63*. On a lively rain affected pitch Zane and Lawrence both picked up early wickets and with the help of some run outs Flamingo were pegged back but still needed a very getable 30 off the last 4 overs. Tarty and Zane managed to hold Flamingo off to give the 1sts a very satisfying win. A big thankyou to super sub John Reeve for helping out at such short notice. The 2nds won in Portsmouth on the back of a Timmo Ton Barney 5-for and the thirds lost at Penton.
J-MAC TOP FANTASY PLAYER

Jamie Martin is the top rated player in the fantasy league after the first 5 weeks of the season with a total of 773 points. The top ten players can be found here. Stuart Stickland's team is currenlty in first place. Overall team placings can be found here.

HAT TRICK HERO!
Matt Reeve spun the ball miles and took an early hat trick in the border league at Trojans who set Bramshaw 121 to win. Unfortunately Bramshaw struggled with some good Trojans bowling and were bowled out for 50! Congrats to Matt though for a fantastic hat trick.

2nds & 3rds HAVE EASY WINS - 1sts LOSE ANOTHER CLOSE ONE
The firsts travelled to St Cross and set a good target of 236. St Cross reached the target with an over to spare as the firsts fielding let them down again. The 2nds had a very good win at home and the thirds also had a very good win.
FANTASTIC TEAM PERFORMANCE GETS 1STS FIRST WIN
The first team travelled to Hungerford on Saturday and after losing the toss bowled and fielded brilliantly to restrict the home team to 172. Wickets fell throughout the Hungerford innings with Zane picking up 2, Joe getting 2, J-Mac picking up 3 and Matt Alford taking 1 whilst bowling with good control. Josh Arnold in his first team debut took a very important catch at mid wicket to dismiss one of Hungerford's dangerous batsman. In reply Bramshaw started well against some very hostile bowling. Tom stroked a beautiful cover drive off the super quick overseas player before getting out to the dibbly dobbly bowler at the other end. Zane (28) & Matt Alford (45) batted beautifully before Ben and Johnny then kept the runs ticking over taking the team within sniffing distance. It was left however to J-Mac and Coombs to hit the winning runs and produce a fantastic all round team win. A very big thank-you to Bones for travelling to Hungerford at very short notice to come in as a last minute replacement. Sheeps report here. The seconds and thirds both lost close games.
BRAMSHAW TOP OF BORDER LEAGUE AFTER GOOD WIN
Bramshaw currently sit on top of the Border League after an undefeated start to the season. Bramshaw batted first and scored 159 in their 18 overs with Tom Arnold smashing a personal best in the border league of 77. In reply Dom Briggs took 3 wickets as Bramshaw reduced Wellow to 143 of of their 18 overs. Sheeps report here. Colts shirts are now available from Ben or Chris.
FIRSTS LOSE AFTER SPIRITED FIGHTBACK
Bramshaw batted first on a sunny day and got off to a reasonable start. Tom then got out and the collapse began with Zane and the Reeves scoring 0 each. But with hitting from Tarty and some fighting spirit from George, Bram ticked over the score. Tarty got out for 70, Matt Alford came in needing some runs and with Johnny put on a partnership before Bram were bowled out for 204 with Matt 50 and John 29. Early wickets were needed to apply the pressure but Bram couldn't get them as Hook's batsmen scored runs fluently. However, swinging like a banana Zane took 4 wickets from 5 overs going for 10 runs of which 8 of them were wides! Matt Alford took 2 wickets and bowled tightly as Bram put the pressure on but with a lack of early wickets and not enough runs the game was lost by just 3 wickets. Matt Alford's alround contribution makes him the man of the match.
U11S & 15S WIN TO KEEP PERFECT COLTS RECORD INTACT
The Under 11s beat OT & Romsey easily this morning and the Under 15s beat Langley Manor. Both teams are still undefeated. The 1sts lost at home yesterday whilst Simon Booth starred for the seconds as they beat Redlynch. The thirds lost to Damerham away.

U15S THROUGH TO NEXT ROUND WITH GOOD CUP WIN
The U15s bowled first and Taylor, Lawrence, James, Marcus & Joe all bowled well to restrict Sway to 83 off their 18 overs. In reply Lawrence & Marcus got Bramshaw off to a good start before Charlie came in to hit a couple of lusty blows to see Bramshaw over the line with 3 overs to spare. The next round is on the 22nd May at home to either Cadnam or Totton & Ealing.
BORDER LEAGUE CUP THRILLER
Matt lost the toss and Bramshaw were asked to bowl. Bramshaw got off to a poor start with Wellow looking settled on 50 for no loss after 5 overs. But Ginge and Angry Dom smashed through the wellow batsman with Ginge picking up a five wicket haul and Angry taking a few to restrict Wellow to 80. Bramshaw went into bat and quickly collapsed, J-MAC batting at 4!! The sheep then took the score close to 80, scoring 41, before stupidly getting out. With 9 runs off the last over needed and Joe Coombs and debutant Chris Plumbley at the crease the pressure was on. Chris took one for the team and ran himself out before Joe 'under armour' Coombs hit an unexpected 6 leaving Bramshaw with 3 needed to win off the last ball. Clasby ran for his life but Joe could only score 2 leaving the game tied. However as Bramshaw had lost fewer wickets they progress to the next round.
THE SHEEP'S WEEKEND MATCH REPORT
Bramshaw lost a crucial toss and were put into bat on a wet wicket. Tom was caught behind for an awful duck and Tarty was run out to start a mini collapse. Showing some fighting spirit Matt Reeve (First 1st Xl 50) and George (45) gave some hope but Bramshaw were all out for 195. Bramshaw were not alive in the field allowing Portsmouth to reach 100 for no loss and easing their way to win with 10 overs to spare for the loss of only 3 wickets. Lets sharpen up and get a win next week!
