Longford Park were our opponents this week and once again Phil lost the toss and we were asked to bat. John Reeve was the first to go followed by a golden duck for Evergreen, enter "Angry Dom", with the help of Petrol Boy (20) and a gritty 36 by Nigel Warren, he bludgened his way to a superb 133 not out. Even though he nearly wiped out a mum and 2 kids and hit Evergreens jeep (bad Dom) we all survived and reached a good total of 222. Skipper took a wicket in his first over but after that all our bowlers toiled against a good batting line up, James Mason 1 for 33 in 5 overs  Charlie Plumley 0 for 29 in 3 overs and Sam Brider 0 for 21 in 3 overs all put in good spells on a difficult day for bowlers (well done lads). Longford reached the total with 5 overs to spare. At the moment we are 3rd from bottom so 2 or 3 more wins should see us stay up.
